Weekly faith sharing (catechesis) includes activities, prayers, and discussion centered on the Sunday Gospel readings and the church teachings that spring from those readings. Liturgy-based catechesis aims to integrate catechesis with the ongoing life of the parish community, especially at Sunday Eucharist. Learning takes place within the rhythms and seasons of the Liturgical year. Our hope is to encourage family faith sharing by building a partnership between the parish church and the home church. We focus on the unique responsibilities that each have in promoting faith growth… neither bears the total responsibility for nurturing that growth, This partnership will provide an effective means for nurturing the individual child’s lifelong faith journey.
