Purpose of this ministry:
The primary purpose of this ministry is to conduct a successful CSA campaign by coordinating the efforts of the pastor, staff and volunteers to meet the parish goal, established by the diocese.

•  Meet with pastor and other leaders prior to campaign to establish dates, which insure minimal impact on other parish activities.
•  Order, or assist pastor with ordering, materials needed for campaign.
•  Coordinate with pastor to have inserts placed in the bulletin and appeal letters mailed or included with the parish newsletter prior to the campaign start date.
•  Review status of previous year pledges.
•  Send out gentle reminders for those who have not met their previous pledge.
•  Plan for and lead a kickoff meeting for parishioners prior to start date.
•  Assist pastor in finding lay speakers as needed.
•  Recruit workers to cover all Masses, and assist office staff with data entry.
•  Be sure workers are aware of target amount, suggested pledges & ways to pledge.
•  Work as many Masses as possible.
•  Coordinate set up of pledge cards and pledge stations prior to weekend Masses; clean up afterwards.
•  Fill out pledge envelopes after each Mass and deposit in the safe.
•  Work with office staff to keep pastor informed of progress each week.
•  Update bulletin and Mass announcements as needed during campaign.
•  Prepare thank you letters for those who have committed and follow up letters for those who have not, send out as soon as possible after campaign ends.
•  Determine with pastor how many follow up requests to send.
•  Work with pastor on how to let parish know campaign results, i.e. bulletin, letter, and newsletter.
